A bright granny smith apple, asian pear aroma transitions to white peach, lemon zest, and fresh squeezed orange juice. It also has a floral component reminiscent of honeysuckle that compliments the fruit. The palate is light and zesty with toned acid and a strong finish.

McKahn Family Cellars Syrah—2020
Ripe plum, blueberry, boysenberry and blackberry preserve start this wine off in an extremely decadent direction. Syrah’s trademark violet and white pepper complement the fruit characters and a subtle hint of black licorice becomes apparent as time passes in the glass. The palate is richly textured with blackberry and black cherry flavors dominating the fruit profile. A creme de cassis and bittersweet chocolate reduction balance the fruit and tannin nicely.
